In Tangail, a discussion and special prayers were held at the premises of Sree Sree Kalibari marking the birth anniversary of lord Sri Krishna. Tangail Additional Deputy Commissioner Mosharaf Hossain Khan, Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjit Kumar Roy and Hindu Religious Welfare Trust President Subash Chandra Saha addressed the programs among others. In Gaibandha, marking the day, Hindu Religious Welfare TRUST (HRWT chalked out the elaborate programs in cooperation with Bangladesh Puja Utjapan Parishad (BPUP), district unit. A discussion meeting, organized by HRWT, was held at the conference room of the deputy commissioner here with DC Abdul Matin in the chair. A large number of Hindu religious leaders and devotees participated in the programs.
