After massive landslides hit the national highway that connects Kashmir with the rest of the world, the road has been closed for vehicular movement. As per traffic officials the landslides were triggered at three different locations on the highway due to rainfall. The 300-km-long Srinagar-Jammu national highway, the only road connecting the Kashmir valley with the rest of the world, has been shut again due to massive landslides, triggered by rain. The MET department had already predicted widespread rainfall and light snow at various places in the state for these days.
