One policeman has died, while four security force men, including three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel and a Jammu and Kashmir policeman have been injured. Security forces have rushed in reinforcements to neutralize the holed up militants. All the entry and exit points have been sealed off and security forces have tightened the cordon and engaged the ultras. Sources said there was heavy exchange of firing between militants and the security forces. The attack comes almost two months after security forces foiled two similar suicide attacks in Kashmir valley.
