THE dad who filmed Jamie Carragher spitting at his 14-year-old daughter is a die-hard Manchester United fan who loathes Scousers. Andy Hughes used his mobile phone to record the incident that left Carragher clinging to his £1million-a-year job at Sky Sports. On the footage taken by Mr Hughes — who on Instagram says he ‘hates Scousers’ — his daughter can be heard saying: ‘He spat on me.’ Mr Hughes then asks her: ‘Where did it hit you?’ The schoolgirl replies: ‘On my face.’She then burst into tears, Mr Hughes claims. Carragher (pictured above), who was born in Bootle, Merseyside, and is worth £15million, has phoned Mr Hughes to apologise for a ‘moment of madness’. But the former Wimbledon midfielder’s only involvement has been to lead calls for Carragher to be sacked from his TV job, branding him ‘absolute filth’.
