Southampton 's Shane Long reacted as his club team-mate James Ward-Prowse suffered a nasty injury in the first half of his sides' FA Cup fourth round replay against Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Ward-Prowse went down holding his right knee after going in to tackle Spurs' Ryan Sessegnon. "F*** me, you can see his f***ing bone," Long said as Ward-Prowse went down. Ward-Prowse was playing in an unorthodox right-back role as oppose to playing in his customary slot in midfield, but he was a big part of an impressive first-half display from Saints who created several chances. Although news about the injury is still unclear, BT Sport commentator Ian Darke hinted at a cut, swelling and possible ligament damage.
