James Van Der Beek and his wife really wanted to move their five kids out of Los Angeles, so they moved to Austin, Texas. The 44-year-old actor and his wife Kimberly Van Der Beek wanted the kids to have "space" to grow up. "We wanted to get the kids out of Los Angeles," James told Austin Life magazine in a new interview. "When we were flying here for our anniversary, I felt an energy to Austin," he added. The couple shares five kids together; son Joshua, 9, and daughters Gwendolyn, 3, Emilia, 5, Annabel, 7, and Olivia, 10.
