Jamalpur correspondent for Banglanews24.com Golam Rabbani Nadeem, who was critically injured in an attack by miscreants at Pathati area in Bakshiganj of Jamalpur on Wednesday night, succumbed to his injuries at a Mymensingh hospital on Thursday. Nadeem's family and locals claimed that Nadeem was attacked by Sadhurpara union parishad Chairman Mahmudul Alam Babu's followers for writing news reports against the chairman for the last two weeks. Nadeem's colleagues said some miscreants attacked Nadeem in the Pathati area on his way back home after work on Wednesday. Nadeem's wife Monira Begum said that Sadhurpara union parishad Chairman Mahmudul Alam Babu's men attacked Nadeem and seriously injured him. Earlier, Nadeem's son Abdullah Al Mamun Rifat said his father died because of Chairman Mahmudul Alam Babu.
