Mojibur Rahman Monju CollectedHe is the second former Shibir president to be expelled from the party for demanding organizational reformsBangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has expelled Mojibur Rahman Monju, a member of its Dhaka metropolitan unit’s policymaking body Majlis-e-Shura, from the party. Jamaat, however, did not issue any press release on the matter as of writing this report. However, the party’s central Majlis-e-Shura member Golam Mostofa told the Bangla Tribune: “Mojibur Rahman Monju has indeed been expelled from the organization. I also had notified the concerned party officials of my opinions.”He is the second former Shibir president who has been expelled from Jamaat due to their demand of reforms within the party. In 1982, Ahmed Abdul Kader was removed from the party in a similar fashion.
