It culminated a four-year campaign of Ellison and Reseda Coach Alonso Arreola to help him obtain a college scholarship. Ellison got his ACT score also on Friday, clearing the way for him to finalize his plans. For Arreola, it was a celebration. He promised to do whatever he could to make sure college coaches were aware of Ellison, who ignored attempts to lure him away. He stayed for four years and helped the Regents achieve football success.
