A BA third semester girl allegedly consumed phenyl on Monday within her college premises after she was allegedly harassed over fees. Under this, the government was supposed to pay her college fee. “At the time of admission I was asked to pay only Rs 2,000 annually, which would also be reimbursed. But now in third semester we were asked to pay Rs 45,000 fee, which is an entire year’s fee. Many students have earlier complained of harassment by college authorities after the government allegedly failed to pay their fee.
