After breaking a bone in his left thumb performing a three-cone drill during the preseason, the Natick High senior quarterback was forced to sit out the first four weeks of the regular season. “After that, I think I settled in.”During his sophomore year at Natick, LeBlanc stepped in at quarterback when former Daily News All-Star Will Lederman was sidelined with an injury. “Terrific kid, tough as nails, plays multiple positions, doesn’t complain, leads by example, great in the classroom and is everything you want.”“Jake never gets tired,” Natick senior captain Jacob Scoeyink said. The Natick High senior quarterback, who grew up watching Troy Flutie play QB at Natick High, is just happy to be back out on the football field. “Loved having him back out here against Wellesley,” Natick senior captain Aaron Becker said.
