External affairs minister S Jaishankar has highlighted Pakistan's role in supporting terrorism, calling it a "particularly egregious example of state-sponsored cross-border terrorism." His comments come even as Islamabad is yet to be seen acting on the issue of terror. India-backed CCIT or comprehensive convention on international terrorism at the United Nations calls for a common definition of terrorism. It was introduced in 1996 and due to lack of global consensus on the issue of terror has not been passed. By Pakistani government’s own admission, the country loses $10 billion annually by being on the FATF grey list.
