Clashes erupted and curfew has been imposed in parts of Jaipur, after a policeman allegedly hit a woman in Ramganj area. One policeman has been killed in the clash and over 10 people have been injured. Instances of stone pelting were reported from the area and tear gas was used to maintain law and order. Soon afterwards hundreds of people gathered at the police station and started to create ruckus.
