A convicted sex offender has launched a High Court challenge after being disciplined by prison authorities for posting comments on his website criticising a survivors’ support group. Brian Doolan, who taught law at Dublin Institute of Technology, was jailed last year to serve 12 years. He is serving his sentence at Arbour Hill prison in Dublin. Doolan has challenged a finding by the prison’s governor that he breached its rules by asking his son to post the comments on his website.
