PETALING JAYA: A security guard who peeped underneath a woman’s skirt was sentenced to seven months in jail by a magistrate’s court here. Uzir Muhamad, 52, had pleaded guilty to intending to insult a person’s modesty by peeping underneath the skirt of a web designer. The offence was committed at Wisma Prosper, Kelana Centre Point, Jalan SS7/19, Kelana Jaya here at 8.30am on Nov 30. According to the statement of facts, the accused followed the victim from behind before taking a peek underneath her skirt. DPP Mary Phoon had urged the court to impose a jail sentence.
