KUALA LUMPUR: A Nepalese security guard was sentenced to five months in jail today after pleading guilty to stealing two mobile phones belonging to his countrymen. Magistrate Siti Radziah Kamarudin ordered Lokendra Ranamagar, 29, to serve the sentence from the date of his arrest on Aug 17. According to the charge, Lokendra stole the mobile phones worth RM400 each, from Lokenra Magar and Til Bahabur Guring at the workers quarters of a supermarket in Chow Kit here, at 12pm on Aug 17. Deputy public prosecutor Aftal Mariz Mohamed conducted the prosecution while Lokendra was unrepresented.
