Eveleigh said police don't believe the men are armed or pose any threat to the public. The province said Quinn is about 5-6, 135 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes, beard stubble and burn scars on both hands. RCMP and municipal police forces are all active in the search, and continue to follow up on leads from the public. An investigation is underway at the provincial jail to determine how the escape was possible. "As the investigation is underway, we cannot offer comment at this time," said an email from a provincial government spokesperson to CBC News.
