Jaguar today announced that it has started accepting bookings for the diesel variant of the Jaguar XE in India. Currently, Jaguar Land Rover sells the petrol variant of the XE sedan in India at Rs 41.69 lakh (ex showroom, New Delhi) for the Pure variant, Rs 43.69 lakh (ex showroom, New Delhi) for the Prestige variant and Rs 48.59 lakh (ex showroom, New Delhi) for the Portfolio variant. With this, Jaguar XE will be available in both petrol and diesel options. The Jaguar XE new variant will be powered by a 2.0l (litre) diesel engine that delivers a power output of 132 kW.
