The adorable western lowland gorilla was born at Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens (JZG) in Florida on September 28. She is currently under assisted rearing provided by the gorilla care staff. Western lowland gorilla is listed as a critically endangered species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
