The scooters were temporarily banned following safety concerns on Friday by both Auckland Council and Dunedin City Council. As of Tuesday afternoon, Auckland Council had yet to announce whether it would allow the scooters back on the streets. But Ardern said she also expected the company to be paying its fair share of tax.
