JVS spotlights students’ skills


BLOOMINGDALE — The annual Spotlight on Skills competition was held at the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School, where students diplayed their knowledge and demonstrated their skills in a variety of categories. The Spotlight on Skills event included the following results: Welding, Joseph Koran, first place; Santino Scaffidi, second; and Taylor Arnold, third. Competing in the auto service technology competition, Andrew Porter achieved first; Maxwell Constantine, second; and Connor Gotschall, third. Those finishing in the auto refinishing technology competition were, Savannah Bookman, first; Mason Sedgmer, second; and Logan Abercrombie, third. Collision repair technology finishers were, Brandon Thompson, first; Robert McGuire, second; and Mark Rairigh, third.
