BLOOMINGDALE — Jefferson County Joint Vocational School highlighted student knowledge and recognized those who proved their mettle during the annual Spotlight on Skills competition. JVS Supervisor/Assistant Principal Gabrielle Wilson announced the recipients with Supervisor Principal Andy Long and school staff doling out gold, silver and bronze medals and certificates to the winners. Those recipients will advance to regional and state competitions with an opportunity to head to the nationals.
