The Judicial Service Commission has announced the promotion of 74 magistrates including Martha Mutuku and Hellen Onkwani, who are now chief and principal magistrates respectively. The others who were promoted, following interviews from February 19 to 28 and approvals at a Tuesday meeting, as announced by JSC Chief Registrar Anne Amadi, are as follows:
