The parliamentary watchdog came up with the recommendations from its 31st meeting held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Monday with its Chairman HN Ashiqur Rahman in the chair, according to a Parliament Secretariat release. The committee also recommended taking immediate steps to merge BCS (Administration) and BCS Economic Cadre for the sake of the country's development management. The committee suggested placing a proposal in its next meeting for readjustment (cadre composition) of the Bangladesh Betar (radio) posts enhancing the DG post to grade-1. Committee members State Minister for Public Administration Ismat Ara Sadeq, ABM Fazle Rashid Chowdhury, RAM Obaidul Muktadir Chowdhury, Mohammad Abdullah, Mustafa Lutfullah and Khorshed Ara attended the meeting.
