JPJ officer claims trial over break-in at DG's office - Nation


PUTRAJAYA: A Road Transport Department (JPJ) officer was charged with breaking into his then director-general's office on July 13. Syed Abdul Rahman Perman, 35, claimed trial to criminal trespass for allegedly breaking into the office of Datuk Seri Nadzri Siron in Precinct 4, here at around 1am. He faces up to six months' prison, a RM3,000 fine or a both, if convicted. Magistrate Ainna Sherina Saipulamin fixed bail at RM3,000 with one surety and set Oct 11 for next mention. It was reported in July that three JPJ enforcement officers from the department’s Special Action Team were detained over the break-in at the former director-general’s office.
