Jawaharlal Nehru Univeristy Student Union president Kanhaiya Kumar was detained on Friday by Delhi Police at Bihar Bhawan for protesting against the alleged attack on Patna Arts college students, who were on sitting on a hunger strike. Kanhaiya, along with JNU students, were demanding the suspension of college principal Chandrabhushan Srivastav and the ongoing examinations be cancelled and conducted afresh. The AISF wanted the exams to be postponed and the JD(U) student wing were against it.
