The prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is all set to hold its fourth annual Convocation today which will focus on conferring PhD degrees. According to JNU Rector Satish Chandra Garkoti, 600 PhD degrees will be conferred during the convocation. "Over 600 PhD degrees will be conferred on this day. President Ram Nath Kovind will grace the occasion as the chief guest while Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will be the guest of honour. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the function will be organised through video conferencing.
