NEW DELHI: Around 200 students "illegally confined" the top brass of the Jawaharlal Nehru University late on Wednesday night in connection with a case involving a missing student. Najeeb Ahmed , a first year MSc student , allegedly went missing on Saturday following a brawl on the campus the night before. He still remains untraceable.Protesting students allege that the Vice Chancellor acted in an "insensitive" manner on the issue and blocked the administrative department. "They are asking the JNU administration to make an appeal to Najeeb Ahmed to return to JNU without fear of any victimization. We also appeal to Najeeb if his is reading this to return to the university.
