The perpetrators were allegedly two Afghan nationals, Sulaiman and Twaab. The victim is in her second year of BA (Hons) at JNU and had gone to a pub in Hauz Khas village last week with a friend of hers. According to the police, Twaab's friend Sulaiman, Siddhant and Pratyusha were present at the house as well. Later in the night, her friend was dropped off at JNU and the girl came back to Twaab's house. The two accused persons namely Twaab Ahmed, 27 and Sulaiman Ahmadi, 31 were arrested on the same day.
