Jagadesh Kumar has formed a 12-member committee to discuss and make recommendations for conducting the JNU Entrance Examinations (JNUEE) completely online for 2019-20. Joint Registrar (Admissions) M. K. Pachauri issued a notice saying the V-C has constituted a committee that will examine various dimensions and submit its recommendation to the authorities at the earliest. Professor Deepak Gaur is the chairperson of the committee, while Communication & Information Services (CIS) director Sanjeev Kumar is the member secretary. Move opposedHowever, the students opposed the move saying the committee does not have any representatives from the JNU Teachers’ Association or the JNU Students’ Union.
