Figures showed an increase in listeners for Newstalk, with 508,000 listeners daily, up 42,000 in the last year to make it the second most listened to station in the country. At RTÉ Radio One which is now reaching 891,000 people on a weekday, Morning Ireland is the most listened to radio programme with 465,000 listeners. We remain strong across the day and through the weekends for listeners, with Current Affairs, Music and Arts programmes all performing. At RTÉ 2FM, the most popular show on the station is 2FM Drive with 145,000 listeners.
