The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three JMB members during a drive in Dhaka’s Tejgaon area. The militants – Md Mofizul Islam alias Tushar alias Tawhid (29), Md Rokibul Islam alias Rokibul Mollah (23) and Md Iliyas Ahmed (19) – planned to attack a shrine in Dhaka, said RAB. After the primary interrogation, the detainees confessed to being active JMB members, he said. In 2013, Tushar met Yasin, a JMB leader who was arrested by RAB in March. Rokibul was born in 1994 in Faridpur and studied at a madrasa.
