Harry Potter author JK Rowling showed her support as she cheered Scotland to a historic victory over England on Saturday. The Scots reclaimed the Calcutta Cup as Rowling watched on with her husband, Neil Murray, who was sporting a kilt in the family tartan. The couple joined nearly 70,000 fans at Murrayfield for a gripping encounter that Scotland won 30-21 for their fourth win in a row against the Auld Enemy. The Harry Potter author, 58, has lived in Edinburgh since the early 1990s and started following the national team after marrying Dr Murray, 52, in 2001. Ms Rowling famously wrote her first Harry Potter books in Edinburgh cafés while she was a struggling single mum.
