Share:LAHORE - Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Sirajul Haq has announced to organise countrywide protest demonstrations against the skyrocketing inflation and unemployment from Friday. The JI, he warned, would expand the protest if the government paid no attention to the public call. The PM wanted to transform Pakistan into a Madina state with an interest-based economy, he ridiculed. “There is no difference between the policies of the current and former governments,” he said, asking the masses to challenge the status quo forces and reject them. He said the dream to transform Pakistan into a true democratic and welfare Islamic state could only be materialised if people rejected the parties of status quo and voted for the JI.
