NEW DELHI: JD(U) chief and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar indicated on Friday that his party might join the Modi government at the Centre when it is reconstituted. "When we are together in government in Bihar, it is only natural that our party join the Union government," Nitish said after separate meetings with PM Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah here. With 12 MPs, including 10 in the RS, JD(U) will be the 49th party to join the BJP-led NDA and the third largest ally after TDP (22) and Shiv Sena (21). Bihar CM says ready for split with SharadBihar CM Nitish Kumar made it clear on Friday that JD(U) was ready to part ways with former chief Sharad Yadav following his rebellion over the party's return to NDA, and that there was no scope of reconciliation.
