The Jatiya Ganatantrik Party has announced a plan to besiege the High Commission of India on Wednesday, demanding the extradition of deposed prime minister Sheikh Hasina, who fled to the country during the July Uprising last year. JAGPA Vice-President Rashed Pradhan announced the programme at a press conference on Tuesday. He said, “The Indian government has been providing shelter to the murderer Hasina with state-level status for one year. “Hasina must be returned, and the Indian aggression must stop. I urge the patriotic people who protect freedom and sovereignty to make the programme a success.”The JAGPA leader expressed regret in advance for traffic congestion which might be triggered in Gulshan during the programme.
