J&K Speaker in Mufti storm

Omar said the chief minister happened to be the leader of the House and the Speaker was creating history by expunging her remarks. This time the Speaker said he would first go through the records and if the word anti-national was used, it would be expunged. The Speaker again adjourned the House for 15 minutes when there was no let-up in the protests. Education minister Naeem Akhtar, the spokesperson for the PDP-BJP coalition government, claimed the Speaker had clarified that he had not expunged Mehbooba's remark.
