The Indian Army jawan, and a nine-year-old girl was killed on Monday as Pakistani troops shelled areas along Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch. "The Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked firing on Indian Army posts in Rajouri sector and Poonch district at around 0730 hours. The Pakistan Army violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch's Balakote and Rajouri's Manjakote and Bhimber Gali sector. On July 9, the Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch sector along the LoC. On June 29, two Indian Army jawans were injured when the Pakistani troops initiated firing along the LOC in Poonch.
