After a lull of nearly 48 hours, Pakistani Rangers again violated ceasefire by resorting to small arms fire and mortar shelling on at least three places in R S Pura sector on Sunday evening. Later at 9.45 pm, “a few 82 mm mortar shells were fired. The Pakistani Rangers were also using 82 mm mortar shells till reports last came in. In this context, he referred to the killing of seven Pakistani Rangers in BSF retaliation to their skipper fire hitting latter’s sepoy Gurnam Singh in the head on Friday morning. His body was taken to his native village Rath anand in R S Pura tehsildar where his cremation will take place on Monday.
