(CNN) Despite ethical concerns around Donald Trump appointing his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, as senior adviser in his administration, both Kushner and his wife, Ivanka Trump, have stepped down from their respective businesses , sending a clear signal they are getting ready to enter the crucial roles they will have in Washington. Ivanka Trump said on "60 Minutes" she would "be a daughter" when her father becomes president, but her actions have often suggested otherwise. As recently as last month, Ivanka was personally calling members of Congress about child care legislation and tax deductions. In other words, they are much more likable than Donald Trump. But one thing is crystal clear: When it comes to Donald Trump's America, Ivanka and Jared will be ruling it.
