Taylor Swift called out Damon Albarn on Twitter for 'discrediting her writing' after the Blur frontman claimed that she does not write her own music during a recent interview with the LA Times. After pop music critic Mikael Wood praised Swift's songwriting abilities, Albarn aired his belief that 'co-writing is very different to writing.' 'I'm not hating on anybody, I'm just saying there's a big difference between a songwriter and a songwriter who co-writes. The Tidal music streaming app shared screengrabs of Swift's solo writing credits and added, 'Can confirm Taylor's pen game is strong.' Singer-songwriter Maisie Peters said that, 'Taylor Swift could write Song 2 but Damon Albarn could never write All Too Well 10 Minute Version.'
