PETALING JAYA: Former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak and DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang have both agreed to engage in a public debate after verbally sparring over a variety of national issues on a regular basis. In a Facebook posting Tuesday (May 21), Najib said he accepted Lim's proposed topic; "How Malaysia became a global kleptocracy and how we can become a leading nation of integrity". Najib proposed for the debate to take place after Hari Raya next month, adding that it should be aired live. "My officer will be in contact with Lim's officer to organise the debate," he said. "Meanwhile, I welcome Malaysians who have views on the subject to email their views and suggestions to limkitsiang@gmail.com," Lim's statement read.
