Whistleblower Athol Williams has said that for consultancy Bain to truly "make amends", it must come clean on the work it did for all South African state-owned enterprises, not just the SA Revenue Service (SARS). "We want to know what happened at all our state institutions where they worked," he said on Friday. Williams said it was public knowledge that Bain had also done work for Telkom, the Development Bank of Southern Africa, the Industrial Development Corporation and the Public Investment Corporation, among others.
