OPINION: Inevitably, when you say anything on air, someone's going to hate your voice. But the biggest one I get, over and over again, is that I say "like" too much. Whenever I hear people say "pacific" instead of "specific", it makes me want to beat them over the head with an atlas opened to the page of the Pacific Ocean. Everyone has vocal tics they detest, like women who say "sorry" too much or when men start every sentence with "at the end of the day…". Don't even get me started on Gen Z's fondness for deliberately hideous sneakers and 90s Dad-bod chic.
