Former Mukurweini MP Kabando wa Kabando now wants the Kenya Kwanza regime to stop blaming retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga for their failures. Kabando insisted that like former President Mwai Kibaki (late) did after former President Daniel Moi retired, Ruto should start working to correct Uhuru's mistakes. He hit the road running to correct mistakes; no whining," Kabando said. The former legislator said Ruto should shift his focus to delivering on the Kenya Kwanza plan because businesses are bleeding and Kenyans are hurting. In the August 2022 general election, Kabando backed the Azimio la Umoja coalition which lost the presidency to Kenya Kwanza.
