Jimmy Spithill has likened the collision that led to his United States boat to capsize in the Sail GP regatta to something that happens in motor racing. Japan suffered hull damage after riding over the top of the United States and locking hulls. Fortunately no sailor was on the side of the American boat that took the impact and left Japan holed and taking on water. We were having a great race. SAILGP Jimmy Spithill's US boat had a collision and capsize on the final day of SailGP action in Bermuda.
