The Case For A New RFP ApproachImagine if all the unique creative concepts that spawned out of agency brainstorms were publicized to the brand world so that the right brand could find the right concept without the need for a separate RFP process. The RFP process, as it stands, is incredibly inefficient and highly unique in the agency world. Instead, the architecture firms are paid for that work, which narrows the number of firms involved in a given RFP process. I, for one, am betting on transparency and leveraging software to create brief-based platforms to flip the script on the RFP process is one giant step forward.
