And it’s time for the Lakers to give up on life for the next few weeks. The Lakers are now 30-34 after losing to the skinnier, sexier, healthier, hotter L.A. team, the Los Angeles Clippers. The Lakers have less than a 1% chance of making the playoffs - but right now their lottery odds aren’t great either. And, really, it’s not like the Lakers need to try and lose games. It also gives the Lakers a possible 30% chance of nabbing an asset to toss New Orleans’ way.
