It's Summer 2018 And Rosé Is The Conversation--Again


Today, we learn Kokomo’s pink wines are nearing 10% of the winery’s production. According to Swindell, that 2008 Kokomo rosé proved the future appeal of pink wine in the U.S. market. But climates in southern Europe and parts of California, not to mention climate change, provide consumers with much more color variance—and flavor depth—in rosé wines. Rosé is not immune to the frivolous fad either, like a bottle with a sniffable label or nicely chilled rosé beer and rosé cider. Yet, if rosé is not just for summer someone may need to send consumer magazines a memo.
