I did rather more than just vote for Brexit, for Britain to leave the European Union. And as with this lady on Question Time, straight bananas are one of the reasons why I have been shouting about it. The point though not being straight bananas per se, rather a legal or economic system which is so absurd as to apply the criminal law to the straightness of bananas. “And the reason is because I go to a supermarket, and a banana is straight. As with most industries the fresh fruit one (although bananas are actually an herb but leave that aside for the moment) has a set of standards.
